Amanwana, Moyo

Aman Resorts' incursion into the Indonesian island of Moyo brings you Amanwana, a resort located on a secluded beach on an island nature reserve. The jungle on the island teems with wildlife, including deer, macaques and sea eagles. Meanwhile the surrounding sea contains pristine reefs and an abundance of sealife.

Accommodation is all in tented villas, which are located either on the beach or under the canopy in the jungle. These are all spacious and decorated lavishly.

Guests at Amanwana have almost exclusive access to the outstanding reefs off the coast, and the resort runs frequent diving trips there. As well as an array of coral and sponges, a huge variety of shark, rays, eels, tropical fish, turtles and crustaceans are visible.

Staying on land offers an equal treat - with the range of wildlife in the jungle visible on guided treks and cave walks, along with stunning waterfalls.
