Belle Mare Plage

Belle Mare Plage is located on the East coast of Mauritius, and fulfils all of the requirements for luxury tropical travel.

What really makes Belle Mare Plage stand out is the golf - offering not one but two championship courses - the 'Legend' being the resort's flagship, as well as another Links course for those wanting a slightly different experience.

Guests not taken with a morning on the course have a number of other options to take, keeping with the golf theme but on a mini scale, playing tennis, or reflecting the French colonial history of the island with a game of petanque and a Pastis.

Water activities are also widely available, with kayaking popular, and a choice of diving to see sharks, tuna, barracudas, rays and so on; or taking a boat and fishing for them.

Gastronomically, there are four restaurants to choose from - offering buffet, Mediterranean beach fare, Asian, and seafood. Five bars offer any number of cocktails.

The resort's accommodation offers a variety of rooms, suites and villas, all luxuriously equipped. Villas all have private pools.
