The Four Seasons Resorts are a famous global institution, and bring their wealth of experience from around the world to their resort in Mauritius.

The 18th hole of the golf course is overlooked by one of the resort's four restaurants, with another overlooking a lagoon with the remaining two specialising in Italian and Asian cuisine. A lounge bar also looks out towards the Ile aux Chats and offers a range of cocktails and wines

Further afield, activities include smaller islands reachable by boat; horse-riding; and seeing endangered species of pigeon and tortoise (hopefully not going the way of Mauritius' most notable animal, the dodo!)
