One & Only, Reethi Rah

Found on one of the larger islands in the Maldives, Reethi Rah can offer guests unrivalled space on their island paradise. The geography of the island is another reason it stands out from its neighbours - the shoreline is a succession of bays , ensuring even calmer waters and more privacy.

Home to 130 private, detatched villas, Reethi Rah also offers a higher level of seclusion than most. Villas are available nestled amongst the foliage on the beach,or alternatively rising on stilts above the sea, and all are spacious and stylishly decorated.

Eating at the resort is also set to be a treat, with three venues and a bar serving tourists' needs. Worth mentioning are the Japanese restaurant, where fine meals are taken over the lagoon; and the secluded Saharan-style camp serving a range of Middle Eastern delicacies.

While at Reethi Rah, guests can partake in a wide range of activities, including tennis, beach volleyball and cycling on land, and snorkelling and diving out to sea. A high-tech gym is also available to use.

Romantic-minded visitors can also make use of the various excursions available on traditional Maldivian dhoni craft, which can run relaxed fishing trips or visits to other islands. All guests can choose to extend their relaxation at a well equipped and large spa facility.
