Jumeirah is the most exciting development in Dubai - a district designed with luxury whims in mind, it is home to many boutique hotels, residential developments surrounded by peaceful waterways, good golf courses and fantastic shopping.
The rooms at Dar al Masyaf are designed to replicate Arabian courtyard houses - spacious and full of light, but able to shade residents from the hot midday Sun. All have good access to the beach, and offer a private butler service. Adding to the charm of the place, everywhere within the resort is accessible by waterways, allowing for a Venetian feel.
Meanwhile, for a boutique stay, the resort's Mina A' Salam hotel offers exquisite luxury in its Ocean and Arabian suites. Arabian suites have a view back inland of the city, and the waterways, and are decorated in modern Arab-chic. Ocean suites offer dramatic ocean views with the Burj al Arab and Palm Jumeirah featuring.
Madinat Jumeirah offers possibly the richest choice of bars and restaurants of any in the world. A grand total of nineteen restaurants are available on site, offering every major world cuisine imaginable; on top of these, there are two further lounges, three bars, and a nightclub. As a city with a relatively small permanent population, it is resorts where Dubai's fun side is on show.
Many of these restaurants are found in the resort's very own Souk, which is also where you can get a lot of good shopping done. Also available on site is the magnificent Wild Wadi Waterpark, and the First Group Theatre. And for guests needing some time to get away from it all, the Quay Healthclub and Talise Spa will help you relax and work every bad thought from your body.
